New Plants for Chelsea Flower Show Unveiled
The Chelsea Flower Show is set to return for it another year, bringing Spring to the capital. Since it began in 1913, this stunning show takes place in Chelsea Hospital is the most prestigious in the UK and the Royal Family can be relied upon to make an appearance each year. The Sun's Great Pavilion garden put together by Peter Seabrook will include a host of new plants to add to those from a range of nurseries that will be unveiled at the show in May.
The event will showcase an array of stunning plants, including Berberis thunbergiii 'Orange Sunrise' bred by Lucjan Kurowski and supplied by Seiont Nurseries and Calibrachoa 'PinkTastic' from Selecta One, the Fleuroselect Star Award winner.
Visitors can expect exciting launches of brand new blooms, renowned rose breeders David Austin Roses will display their new roses Emily Bronte, Mill on the Floss and Tottering-by-Gently. Thorncroft Clematis are also introducing a new clematis bred on the nursery of J van Zoest nursery in Holland at RHS Chelsea Flower Show, where their exhibit will have a royal theme.
