The Install

LONDON – In a move that redefines the modern corporate environment, a leading Global (Re)Insurance Organisation has officially opened its doors to a stunning new Central London headquarters. The space, transformed with interior landscaping, represents a new gold standard for integrating wellness and nature into the heart of the financial district.

The Journey from Concept to Canopy

The collaboration began with a vision to move beyond the traditional minimalistic office. Funky Yukka met with the client team to explore how nature could drive productivity and peace of mind. Following a series of bespoke design concepts that blended architectural aesthetics with botanical life, we are very proud to be involved in creating a working environment which exudes luxury.

This office redefines offices. It is genuinely a place you would wish to work in.

Throughout the design and installation phases, we maintained constant communication with the client, ensuring the vision remained on track while working seamlessly alongside building contractors, fit-out firms, and building owners. This rigorous coordination ensured a delivery schedule that was timed perfectly for the office’s "Go-Live" date.

Bespoke Craftsmanship

The project’s uniqueness lies in the details. Funky Yukka collaborated directly with furniture manufacturers and suppliers to create custom-designed plant displays. These bespoke installations were engineered to fit perfectly into built-in recesses within the office joinery, creating a seamless fusion of furniture and foliage.

Leadership Reflections

Daniel Foster, Managing Director of Funky Yukka, shared his pride in the project’s success:

"This project was a masterclass in collaboration. Working with a client like the Global (Re)Insurance Organisation, who truly values the impact of a green environment, allowed us to push the boundaries of design. Seeing the installation come together exactly on schedule was a testament to the hard work of everyone involved."

Ellie Foster, Wellness Director, added her thoughts on the human impact of the design:

"It’s just wonderful to see biophilia supporting wellness initiatives so effectively throughout these offices. Nature isn't just a 'nice to have' anymore; it’s a vital part of a healthy work culture. We are so happy to see the team enjoying their new, revitalised space."
